Answer to Trivia

Before John Williams was THE John Williams, he was just another composer looking for his big break. He got it when Steven Spielberg brought him along to provide the music for his second film Jaws.

The pair had worked together on The Sugarland Express the year before and the two have such a great rapport that John has provided the music on almost every single film that Steven Spielberg has directed. John also went on to provide music for several other projects that Steven didn't direct such as the Star Wars and Indiana Jones films among many others.

John Williams won the 1976 Oscar for Best Score for Jaws and while he didn't work on this week's The Meg, there are many homages to the iconic film. The Meg is now available on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD.
